Due to the custom and digital nature of our services, all purchases made through Shodo Inkworks are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.
This applies to all services and products, including but not limited to:
- Japanese translation services
- Custom hand-drawn calligraphy pieces
- Digital calligraphy files
- Any bundled or promotional packages
Why We Have This Policy
Every piece created through Shodo Inkworks is a custom, handcrafted work made specifically for you. Time, expertise, and care go into each translation and calligraphy piece from the moment we receive your order, meaning we begin work right away. Because of this, we are unable to recoup that time or resell the work once it has been created.
We strongly encourage you to review your order details carefully before completing your purchase. If you have any questions before placing an order, please reach out to us — we are happy to help!
Special Sale Purchases
Purchases made during a limited-time sale or promotional period are also final and non-refundable. However, your purchase will never expire. You may redeem your service at any time, with no deadline or time pressure.
